Eagle of the Cross: Congratulations to Laura Amrhein who was another recipient from St. Stephen Parish of the Archdiocesan Eagle recognition, and nominated by The John Carroll High School. She was honored at a reception with her family and Bishop Brennan on May 16th.  Congratulations!

   

Monthly Lunches for the Clients at Weinburg Center: Join us for lunch-making on Tuesday, June 12 at 7pm in the Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office.  Please see the Sign Up Genius.  Can’t join us but want to participate – no problem! Sign up for any items you like on the Sign Up Genius and be sure to drop them off at the parish center before June 12. Thank you!

Quo Vadis: for young men who want Christ and the Church to be part of his life.  Join your peers to understand more deeply each of our call to holiness and to live out fully our particular vocation.  July 19-22 at Mount St. Mary’s University. For boys entering grade 9 through those high school graduates 2018.  Registration is $225 and $175 for additional siblings, but please do not let inability to pay prevent you from attending, contact the Archdiocese office of vocations for help.  To register and for more details go to: https://www.quovadisfiat.org/quovadishome

Summer Mission Experience for High School Youth: If you are entering grades 9-12 in Fall of 2018, or have graduated high school in Spring 2018, we invite you to set aside some time to serve our brothers and sisters on the margins right here in our neighboring Baltimore City.  Our plan is for the week of July 30 – Aug 3. We are currently working on securing housing and worksites. If you think you would be interested in attending, and would like to reserve a spot, please contact the youth ministry office at stephenyouth@hotmail.com or 410-592-7294 by June 10.

Prayers for our youth & young adults traveling to the “Fuel” conference at Franciscan University this month!

 

Adoration in Convent Chapel: Join us for some quiet prayer time with Jesus:  Thursdays, 6-7:30pm. Until MAY 31.  We will suspend adoration for the Summer, and resume in the Fall.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER in the Parish or through Youth Ministry?  Youth ages 14-18 who would like to volunteer at St. Stephen Parish or who would like to engage in community service through Youth Ministry should plan to attend Worthy of the Call volunteer training when they turn or are about to turn 14.   Next Training Date:  Aug/Sep 2018

Faith Formation Info

All are welcome, but especially for students who attend public school, or, are home schooled without a religion curriculum.

Attention High School students: Please join our small faith community!  ALL are welcome, no matter what school you attend.  Meet during the school year in the youth room on Tuesdays at 7pm.  Contact Mrs. Charlene Quesenberry to register  Charlenequesenberry@gmail.com.
